I loved how clean the property was. Everything was consistently clean and hygienic. From the elevators, onsen, rooms themselves, and the lobby. The hotel is kept in great shape. I would also say the workers have absolutely some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.
Tokyo is extremely nice city from the first view. This what you never see is the great climate. It is good to rest there! City is very clean and comfortable to walk, drive and travel. The only thing to remember is that it is a really big city and reservations of strategic points in advance are what I recommend.

We had a lot of fun and new experiences on our trip - you could see how much of a stress visitors are making on there rails and other transportation though.
Be respectful of their customs and always be courteous and polite - if you know a few phrases use them.
Try not to be the big splash in the calm pond - and if possible, avoid the areas that are tourist traps and always carry cash!
I drove from Ueno to Osaka and back to airport and it was a blast! Way less stressful than running for the trains and dealing with the walking and crowds.

I had to get used to the big crowds at first, but since I was staying in Shibuya (close to the scramble square and other touristy attractions) this was inevitable. An absolutely wonderful city, and as a solo traveler I felt very safe. Clean streets, polite people, beautiful sights. Will definitely come back and highly recommend a visit to this beautiful city (include a daytrip to Mt. Fuji, you won't regret it! :))

I was surprised on seeing the Development of this country. There a lot of Shrines and Temples to see and one must be physically fit to go about visiting the places of of interest.
The best part is that each and every one were very Helpful, Respectful and Kind.
We found it too crowded at the end of April 2024 and also at the end of the Cherry blossom season.
There's very few people who could understand English, its the younger generation that could and they were very helpful.
Taxis are very expensive.

Lots of on-time public transport (Trains) available but can sometimes be a challenge to access the required destination platform. Lots of walking
We visited Japan during cherry blossom time. Will not visit Japan again during cherry blossom as the crowds are huge at tourist sites.

It is located very near the Shinjuku New South Gate exit. The Yamamoto line is accessible from there. My husband and I had an easy time going to the tourist spots in Tokyo because of this. The airport limousine also picks up and drops passengers in front of the hotel. So location is perfect. The breakfast buffet is also very good - coffee was good;’tea was plenty. There also very good restaurants near it and not necessarily Japanese. Also Family Mart. All in all, the hotel was perfect for new visitors like us.
Close to the Shinjuku station, so very easy to access. Typical entertainment area - the famous Godzilla statue cinema is around the corner. The hotel's lounge area is perfect for an otaku: mangas, anime DVDs all over the shelves. The hotel part very clean, less noisier than other capsule hotels. The capsule is plastic, a little bit noisy when you hit accidentally. The bed is fine...but the pillow is super old school japanese hard pillow...but within few minutes you can find out how to use to be comfy.
the rooms are very small but it was ok for me that I was alone but my friends were family and honestly was impossible for them to move around the room. the locatation is not walkable to any of the tourist attractions and there are not much around the hotel so you need to take a metro to go to those places. the place was really clean though and what I loved the most is that they has even hair band in the room which it was so handy as I lost mine one day and used that hahhaha
My stay was excellent and I would come here again. The staff, the room and the onsen were amazing! The location was perfect as it was right next to convenience stores, the Toei Ōedo Line and even a post office. Shinjuku Central Park was just a short walk away. The room had air conditioning, comfortable bed, a tv with useful information, a bath tub and comfy yukata. It all felt very luxurious and I would highly recommend this hotel!
Great hotel. Friendly, courteous, well mannered staff. Complimentary coffee / espresso machine that offered barista options available all day was a nice perk. Art installations on every floor were beautiful. French toast breakfast was amazing. Convenient subway access to the rest of Tokyo. Neighborhood felt professional and business friendly. Very safe and quiet. Haven away from the chaos of Shibuya and Shinjuku.
The apartment is definitely bigger size compared to APA hotels or any business hotels in the Shinjuku or Shibuya down town.
Me and my family felt way more comfortable here!
Heater works perfectly fine in winter time and all the amenity we needed was here too.
A Lovely safe local neighborhood and lots nice cafe and restaurants near by.
Close to MRT Hatsudai station on foot
Fantastic and helpful staff, located in a calmer area of Tokyo away from the typical tourist destinations of Shibuya and Shinjuku. There is a subway station right next to the hotel though which makes getting around fairly convenient if a little long to get to downtown. Next to a popular shopping area that has some great inexpensive restaurants that locals seem to frequent.
We loved the view of Tokyo from a huge window at the foot of our bed. We loved the cherry blossom trees in the park at the front of our hotel. We loved the reception staff and their gentle manner.
My husband is disabled and found the reception disabled facilities excellent. But he found the hotel room difficult to manouevre around due to lack of space.
Great location in a quiet area of Tokyo - away from all the noise and bright lights of Shibuya and Shinjuku. Easy access to all the places I wanted to visit. Room has plenty of space compared to typical hotel however, you need to be comfortable with Japanese style sitting on the floor (eg, no chairs or sofa).
The room was always well kept. Location was fantastic, perfectly located 5 minutes from the nearest train station and an easy train ride to anywhere in Tokyo. We spent a time in Akihabara, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, and many other neighborhoods in Tokyo, and the location of the hotel made traveling a breeze.
The location is great! Walking distance from Shimbashi station which gives you access to to pretty much everywhere in Tokyo very easily (including Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Asakusa, Akihabara, Harajuku, Disney etc…). The hotel is very clean and the staff is really helpful whenever you need them.
A cute guesthouse located in a calm shopping street. Public transportation nearby, takes about 40 minutes to get to Shibuya, Ueno park and Akihabara around 20 minutes. Nana-san and her husband were extremely accomodating and kind and made my stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend!
Booked this hotel for my husband to try out a capsule hotel during our stay in Tokyo. He especially liked the bath facilities and enjoyed the steam sauna. The lounge area was a nice bonus and the staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Hotel is new (Feb 2023), good location close to transportation. Onsen was very nice and clean. Great if you’re traveling solo. Good price compared to other hotels in Tokyo. I enjoyed the stay at Apa. beware regarding the address as there a 3 Apa hotels in the area.
Fast check in, Great service from the staff. Capsule well situated to attractions of Shinjuku. 5 different tube stations within 12 minutes of hotel. Ideal to get any where in Tokyo. The hotel very clean and bed was comfortable. Washing machine on site.
Location was great, overlooking the park and 20 minutes into Shinjuku, and handy for shibuya and all the places a tourist wants to visit.
Hotel was cool, nice facilities, good rooms and nice restaurant - can't recommend enough for the price.
Clean and quiet. This was the best value I found in Tokyo. We did not want to stay in tiny capsule hotels. You are a bus ride away from the Shibuya station. From there you can go anywhere. The owner is friendly. We were happy with our stay.
Second time staying here as previously found this hotel when I was last in Tokyo in 2017
5 minute walk away from sunshine city 5 minute walk away to the nearest train station, easy access to shibuya & shinjuku you can’t go wrong
My room included use of the onsen. I had never experienced this before. It was a wonderful experience. My husband and I enjoyed our Japan vacation very much. This hotel was a great place to conclude our trip.
Great location on the subway lines. Quick access the Shinjuku and Shibuya, as well as Tokyo station. Comfortable and relatively quiet hotel in the middle of town.
